Happy New Year!
Kohaku English New Year Post (2026)
2 min read
✨ Welcome, 2026 ✨
The beginning of a new year often comes with big expectations.
New goals. New plans. New pressure.
But at Kohaku English, We want 2026 to start a little differently.
A new year doesn’t mean you suddenly need to be “better” at English.
It doesn’t mean you need to know more words, speak perfectly, or study every day without fail.
A new year simply means another chance to grow — gently.
Thank you for being here 🤍
First of all, thank you.
Thank you for taking lessons with me.
Thank you for practicing English even when it felt difficult.
Thank you for making mistakes, asking questions, and continuing even when your confidence was low.
Some of you studied actively this year.
Some of you studied quietly, at your own pace.
Some of you are just starting your English journey.
No matter where you are right now, I’m truly grateful that Kohaku English is part of your learning path.
Learning English is not a straight line
One thing I want to say clearly at the start of this year:
Learning English is not a straight line.
Some days you feel confident.
Some days you forget words you thought you already knew.
Some days you feel motivated — and other days you feel tired.
All of that is normal.
Making mistakes doesn’t mean you’re bad at English.
It means you’re learning.
At Kohaku English, I believe that learning works best when you feel:
safe to try
allowed to make mistakes
supported, not rushed
That belief will stay at the center of everything I create in 2026.
Where is Kohaku English going in 2026?
In 2026, Kohaku English will continue to grow slowly and thoughtfully.
I’m currently working on:
New worksheets to help you practice grammar and vocabulary clearly
Study bundles that make self-study easier and less overwhelming
Small group lessons, for learners who want to practice together in a relaxed and friendly environment
These materials are being created with one goal in mind:
to help you learn English at your own pace, without pressure or fear.
No complicated systems.
No “perfect student” expectations.
Just practical, kind support for real learners.
A promise for the new year
As your teacher, my promise to you in 2026 is this:
I will continue to:
explain things clearly and patiently
encourage you when you feel stuck
respect your pace and your goals
create learning materials that feel supportive, not stressful
English is a tool — but confidence is just as important.
And confidence grows when you feel understood.
Let’s move forward together ✨
Whether your goal this year is to:
speak more confidently
prepare for exams
use English at work
or simply understand more than last year
You don’t have to do it alone.
Let’s keep learning, making mistakes, and moving forward together — one small step at a time.
Welcome to 2026.
I’m really glad you’re here 🤍
